Ashoka Machine Tools Corporation was founded in 1968 as a small machine business specializing in oversized gearing, bespoke machining, and heavy equipment construction. It has expanded its supply line to include heavy duty Process Equipment, Heavy Fabrication, Gears and Pinion Shafts, Kiln Support Roller, Kiln Girth Gear, Mill & Kiln Spares, Cement Plant, and Sugar Plant. ASHOKA produces precise machining and heavy fabrication.

As an ISO 9001 business, ASHOKA produces in and around New Delhi (India) in two self-sufficient manufacturing sites totaling 120,000 sq. ft. ASHOKA has approximately 200 engineers, drafters, business management graduates, and trained machinists.
